What is Soju?

Soju

Soju (燒酒) is a Korean alcoholic beverage and a type of distilled liquor. There are two main types of soju. Distilled Soju, a soju made by distilling rice wine made by fermenting grains with a single distiller called Sojutgori. It is divided into two kinds of dilution type soju, which is made by diluting water and other additives to produce a large amount of alcohol of about 95 proof using a modern distillation column.
